What to Expect at Your First PT Appointment

Your first visit is a full 60-minute evaluation and planning session with Jamie.

1

Before You Arrive

  • Complete your intake forms online through Jane App or download them from the Patient Forms page.
  • Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows access to the area we're treating.
  • Bring your insurance card and a photo ID.
  • Bring any relevant imaging reports if you have them - helpful, but not required.
2

Your First 60 Minutes

  • You meet directly with Jamie - not an intake coordinator, not a tech, not an aide.
  • He reviews your history, assesses your movement, and tests range of motion, strength, and neurological function when relevant.
  • He explains what he finds in plain language - what's actually causing your pain, not just where it hurts.
  • At the end, he outlines your treatment plan: visit frequency, expected outcomes, and next steps.
3

Your Treatment Plan

  • Every plan is built specifically for you - not a standard protocol.
  • You'll know what you're doing, why, and when you should start feeling improvement.
  • Home exercises are clear, demonstrated in session, and written out to take home.
4

Ongoing Sessions

  • Sessions are with Jamie - always. No substitutions, no assistants.
  • Each session builds on the last; Jamie tracks your progress and adapts the plan to your response.
  • You have direct access to reach Jamie with questions between visits.
